Howard is reappointed to ASIS International Council Vice President position.
The ASIS Councils serve the membership through identification of information regarding security issues in their specific concentration. In addition, ASIS Councils provide support to, and enhancement of, ASIS educational programs and materials designed to meet the needs of professionals with specific security concerns and issues inherent to a specific industry.
The ASIS Councils provide a vital link between practitioners and the Society to ensure that only the most relevant and latest information on security practices is made available for members.
Howard works directly with four (4) Councils: Defense & Intelligence, Gaming & Wagering Protection, Global Terrorism, Political Instability & International Crime and the Physical Security Councils
He is also member of the Rapid Response Team Subcommittee, Policy and Procedures Subcommittee, Marketing Department Liaison and is the Council-Standards Liaison. He is also a member of the ASIS International certifications programs committee.
